South of Way Jambu there are a lot of options when the swell is small and the winds are light or NE. Although the area lacks the consistency of the northern break, if you are lucky you can score great waves all by yourself!
Bali Village is named because of the Balinese people that have moved and settled there. You will notice the change in architecture in this area, and the streets are lined with Balinese style flags.

About Bali Village

Bali Village is a series of left and right peaks that break over coral, best on the high tides. Check the area on the day for the best spot as it is dependant on size, direction and tide. Not the most quality wave and a fickle spot thats not surfed often, you will likely be by yourself here

Best Conditions for Bali Village

Bali Village is best when the swell is small, from the S or SW. Higher tide provides the best form and low tide can make it too shallow. Wind is offshore in NE, so the wet season is the best time of year to check out this spot.

Getting in and out at Bali Village

Make your way out here straight over the reef in between the sets, be careful at low tides. Coming in is the same, find your way in over the reef, on high tide you can ride over the reef all the way in.

Getting to Bali Village

Head south on the main road from Tanjung Setia, through the small village of Biha and across the bridge. Follow the road south past Way Jambu. Bali Village is where you can see the ocean from the road again, there is plenty of parking in the surrounding fields, or near the Hindu Temple.

Hazards to look out for at Bali Village

Beware of the shallow and sharp reef if surfing here at low tide, and rogue clean up sets.
