The wave is divided into four distinct sections: The Point, The Steeple, Magic Mountain, and Inner Tubes. The wave breaks over a flat coral reef, producing long, steep walls ideal for carving maneuvers, with occasional barrel sections. Getting in and out at T-Land
Accessing T-Land typically involves a boat ride from the shore, as the reef is situated approximately 500 meters offshore. Many local accommodations offer boat transfers to and from the break, facilitating convenient access. Surfers should exercise caution during entry and exit to avoid contact with the coral reef, especially at lower tides when the reef is more exposed.
Getting to T-Land
Reaching T-Land involves traveling to Rote Island, which is accessible via a short flight from Kupang, West Timor, followed by a ferry ride. Once on Rote, the village of Nemberala serves as the primary base for surfers. From Nemberala, T-Land is easily accessible by boat.
