About Leftovers

Leftovers is a left hand reef break that can offer thick and open barrels that will peel for 80m before shutting down on the reef. It gets a little more swell than the Krui Left and Krui right, and typically not as crowded. You can see Leftovers from the Peak.

Best Conditions for Leftovers

Leftovers can break from shoulder high to 1.5 overhead on all tides but low tide can get really shallow in swell from the south to the west. It is offshore in the dry seasion SE trade winds.

Getting in and out at Leftovers

The channel here is not so defined, so get out by wadding across the reef and timing your jump in between the sets. Coming in you can easily navigate yourw ay across the reef on higher tides, but the lower tides you will need to walk across the reef.

Getting to Leftovers

Make your way west from Krui, along the road that runs along the coastline for around 2k. You will find the peak directly in front of BeOcean hotel. It is best to park back near The Peak and walk up to Leftovers.

Hazards to look out for at Leftovers

Shallow shutdowns are common here, so be mindful of the coral reef.
Petty theft does happen here so lock up your belongings, or leave then at the hotel.
