Getting in and out at Don Don

Access to Don Don is typically via a short boat ride from Gerupuk Village. The boat ride is brief, and local operators are readily available to transport surfers to the break. While some surfers opt to paddle out, it’s approximately an 800m paddle from the shore, which can be demanding. Once at the break, the paddle-out is relatively easy, with channels providing straightforward access to the lineup.

Getting to Don Don

From Kuta Lombok, travel eastward to Gerupuk Village, a journey of about 15–20 minutes by car or motorbike. Once in the village, local boat operators can be hired to reach Don Don and other breaks within the bay. Parking is available near the boat launch area.
